FFTL Link-Up (Day 614)

Hi all!

Happy Tuesday! How are you all doing today? It's a rainy and dreary day here but I'm still going to make it a great day! This afternoon I have my information session about a job in Colorado, it will be nice to learn about this job.

I have to say that I am incredibly proud of myself for yesterday. We had my brother and his family over and then my grandparents to celebrate Memorial Day and my grandmother's birthday. When we have family get together's we always have a ton of food and I always seem to eat way too much. So after we're done eating I always feel blah and over stuffed. Well I am proud to say that yesterday I did not eat until I was stuffed, I left the table and I felt satisfied but not stuffed. I'll be honest, I ate a little more than I really wanted to but I did better than I have in the past.

Last night and this morning I was doing some thinking and I really need to focus more on strength training along with my cardio. I was looking over my yearly goals and analyzing how I'm doing with all of them... it's almost June you know and that's half a year gone already. Don't get me wrong, the weight is coming off but I have been neglecting with my strength training. So I'm going to do some strength training at least 3 times a week before my cardio routine. Now that I've decided to include more strength into my routine again, I need to figure out what I want to do. I've been thinking about incorporating the strength moves from the 30DS because when I was doing it before I was getting amazing results.

Today I am linking up with Halie and Hallie for FFTL. Here are today's questions:

Last book I read
I'm reading too many books for school but the last one I read that was not for school was Before You Plan Your Wedding.... Plan Your Marriage I started the book while on my flights to and from Texas. The book is amazing, a definite great read for anyone married, engaged or even just dating. Here's a little overview of the book:
Authors Greg and Erin Smalley open their hearts and share their lives in Before You Plan Your Wedding...Plan Your Marriage so that you can know not only how to build a marriage that will last, but also how to have the kind of marriage where you and your spouse feel safe and honored and valued. When you feel safe, your heart will be open — and open hearts make for fulfilling, powerful relationships.
Find out about the "fear dance" and how to stop dancing it. Discover the two biggest issues that threaten every marriage and how to stop them before they start. Learn what's more important than finding your soul mate and the significance of happiness in your union.
As wonderful as a wedding is, it lasts only for a brief time — yet marriage is meant to last a lifetime. This important book will show you how to plan your marriage before you plan your wedding.

Last movie I saw in the theatre
Ha, well this is a good question. I rarely go out to the movies, so I really have to think about this one. Honestly, I think the last movie I was was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Yeah... that shows how much I go out to the movies. :)

First Things First
We'd love to have you link up so head over to Halie page: Penguins, Pasta & Polka Dots
Time for me to go and work on some homework and then I'll get my workout on later. :) I hope you all have an amazing day! So until next time!
~Sara~

  1. Ooh, I might need to check out that book! We're getting married in October, so I'm sure we could learn a few great things from it! Glad you linked up with me today! :)
