Year 1 Day 117 (Day 482)

Today is a new day, it's cold, cloudy, and snowing today. :( But nevertheless, I am thankful for it. I have a weigh-in tomorrow and I think that it will go well, I have done well with my diet this week.

I didn't do quite as well as the day before but I was still under my calorie goal. Here's the breakdown:

My water was a little down today but I still got 64 oz, so it wasn't a total loss. I was a little over on my carbs and fats, majorly over on my protein but still under my calories. But I ate okay foods, days like this happen sometimes. I'm not upset about what I ate, because I enjoyed it fully.

The internet at my house is driving me crazy, it's been cutting in and out randomly for the past 2 days (today is the 3rd). Plus it's just running so slowly when it is working. I'm not sure if it's because of the cold weather or if it's our provider or if it's just our service. Either way, it's getting quite annoying and frustrating.

It's getting really frustrating, my parents and I make out a menu for the week on either Friday night or Saturday morning and my mom is really willing to try different healthy foods. But my father doesn't have an adventurous bone in his body, so that means hardly an Mexican, no Thai, Japanese, or Chinese. We're safe if we go with American or Italian or food with flavors similar to those. I'd love to make Chinese, Thai, Mexican, anything and everything because I love trying new things. One type of food that I'd really love trying to make is Pakistani food, seeing that is where my fiance was born. How cool would it be when he gets here and I could cook him some food from his country. Someday, I will make some Pakistani food, hopefully it's some day soon. :)

Today my mom came home sick from work, which is not good for her, but it is good for me. Now I have someone at home to help me not snack a lot in the afternoon. So far so good, only an hour before I need to start making dinner. So until next time.
